GYAP 2009

We had a wonderful time at GYAP 2009 at Shaver Lake. It was so much fun. We decided to rent a cabin this year rather than camp. It worked out really well. Although I really love camping at GYAP, since it is the only time I get to camp, it was a nice change of pace and very enjoyable for the kids. When we camp I tend to worry about my kids and feeling the need to be with them very second watching their every step. Since we were in a cabin and there were door that could be shut it was easier for me to let me kids relax and play with the other kids.

We just keep growing and growing

The Grandparents

Filling Seth in on the weekend

Linkin had a blast!

We spent some time down at the lake soaking up some sun, eating lunch and watching those brave enough swim to the booie and back. Go Grandpa!

Sadie and Arri had the time of their lives. They really do love each other. It is sweet. They play so well together and really teach eachother so much. Arri doesn't seem to mind Sadie's bossiness and she is so happy to have Arri to play with. They are a great pair.

Can't wait for GYAP 2010!

A Shout Out To All My Nortches

A Forgotten Photo!

I found this forgotten photo tucked away in my picture file. Maybe it should have stayed there! Hahahahaha. Well, I had to share it.

Mother And Daughter

People say Sadie is a little "Mini Me". I see a lot of myself in her, however she has so much of Seth in her personality. She is a funny little girl and has a great sense of humor.

If I have it my way I will keep her hair short too but I think Daddy might fight me on this one.

An Amazing Race

A month or so ago we decided as a family to do the "Heart and Sole" 5k walk/Run here in Salinas. Seth walked it while pushing the kids and I decided to run it. We also entered Sadie and Linkin into the kids run. Linkin ran a 1/2 Mile! He was so awesome. He kept his head high and ran as fast as those little legs would take him. I ran beside him and as we approached the finish line I couldn't help but shed some tears of JOY and I watch my little boy win the race against CP!
God Knows Us By Name

Our Little Garden

Linkin, Sadie and I decided we needed a garden. Ok, who am I kidding!?! Linkin and I decided we needed a garden so we went to longs and picked up a few plants and flowers that we thought we would like in our garden.

Since planting our garden things have really begun to grow. Our Zucchinin is looking great, our tomato plant is doing well. Linkin continually says "That plant isn't doing so well". Contrary to his belief it is doing very well. The flowers have since died and our bell pepper plants are gone too....this is what lead me to believe Sadie doesn't think we need a garden. Miss Sticky Fingers!

Sneekers BBQ

Linkin decided he wanted to invite his friends over for a BBQ. He wanted to cook and serve his friends lunch. A few weekends we sent out invitations and a before we knew it our "Sneekers BBQ" was up and Running. He was a little business on our hands. Last year it was a lemonade stand and this year it was a BBQ. Here is some fun pictures of Linkin's BBQ. Thank you to all who made it out.

The menu was made up of Tri Tip, Hot Dogs, Chips, Drinks, Corn, Chili and Cookies!

A Few Races

It is time for me to do another race. They are very motivating and really allow me to have a goal to keep me going. In memory of my previous races I am posting a blog with pictures that will encourage me to do another one....Soon!
